2. Purpose and Scope of Application
Maruxa Factureira is a web application designed to help freelancers and small businesses digitize and organize their expense receipts and invoices using optical character recognition (OCR) technology and artificial intelligence.

3. Privacy and Data Protection
In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018, on Personal Data Protection (LOPDGDD):
3.1. Image Processing
- Receipt and invoice images are processed in real time
- We DO NOT store the original images on our servers
- OCR processing is performed through third-party services (see section 3.4)
- Extracted data is stored locally in your browser (localStorage)

3.4. Third-Party Services

3.5. International Transfers

4. Cookie and Analytics Policy
4.1. No Tracking Cookies
Maruxa does NOT use tracking or advertising cookies. Our analytics configuration (PostHog) is configured with:

4.2. Local Storage
We use browser localStorage for:
- Saving the history of processed receipts
- Storing your preferences
Important: This data never leaves your browser. You can delete it at any time from your browser's developer tools.
4.3. PostHog Analytics
We use PostHog to understand how the application is used:
- Server: EU (Frankfurt) - data doesn't leave Europe
- Mode: memory - doesn't persist between sessions
- DNT: We respect Do Not Track
- Sessions: We don't record user sessions
4.4. How to Disable Analytics
You can disable analytics in several ways:
- Enable "Do Not Track" in your browser (we respect it)
- Use an analytics blocker
- Contact us for manual exclusion
4.5. Technical Cookies
Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for:
- Security and attack protection
- Load balancing
These cookies are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy directive as they are strictly necessary.
5. Security
5.1. Implemented Measures
- HTTPS on all communications
- DDoS protection via Cloudflare
- In-memory processing (no image persistence)
- Sensitive data stored locally on your device
5.2. Your Responsibility
We recommend:
- Using an up-to-date browser
- Not sharing your device with unauthorized persons
- Making backups of exported data
5.3. Breach Notification
In case of a security breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours in accordance with Article 33 of the GDPR.

7.2. Fair Use
We commit to:
- Not artificially limiting features
- Giving 30 days notice of price changes
- Always allowing you to export your data
7.3. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. You will maintain access until the end of the billed period.
8. Limitation of Liability
Maruxa Factureira is offered "as is". We do not guarantee:
- 100% accuracy in data extraction
- Uninterrupted availability of the service
- Compatibility with all receipt formats
We always recommend verifying extracted data before using it for tax or accounting purposes.

10. Modifications

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of the city of A Coruña, waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply to them.
